I have loved dolphins and been influenced by dolphins from a very early age, drawing them, filling my bedroom with ornaments and pictures, and scanning the sea at every opportunity. Whilst at university I spent 4 weeks volunteering with the Atlantic Whale Foundation in Tenerife. The moment that a bow riding striped dolphin rolled over and looked me in the eye will stay with me forever. I knew that dolphin had seen straight through me, had seen the deepest reaches of my soul.
I went on to do a MSc in Marine Mammal Science whilst also learning Reiki, seeing and scrying. I frequently get asked why I'm not using my degrees. The truth is I may have a scientific mind, but I have a seer's eye and a healer's heart. I feel a deep heart and soul connection with animals and the natural world that science neither explains or fulfills. Science doesn't feed my soul, but working with nature energetically and spiritually makes my heart sing and spirit soar.

Whisperings, whisperings, whisperings
Everywhere I tread I hear them.

Diving, swimming, playing, chasing,
Dolphins play within my heart.
My mind is enticed beneath the waves,

Climbing, resting, listening, waiting
As I hear the mountain's voice,
Entranced beside the icy stream,
Bare toes splay on the sandy bank,
Sensing the power within every grain.
Welcomed, embraced, moved, fulfilled
As the golden haze of summer dusk
Bursts with splendid symphonies.
Amongst the trees, grasses and bracken
I am awed by the surrounding life.
Can you hear them? Listen, listen.
Can you feel it? Be still, be still.
Flowing, surging, gushing, spiralling,
The beautiful energy pulses through me
With every beat of nature's heart.
